God has been so faithful. There has been so many things happening around here. The students are in their 4th week of class and you can see in numerous ways how God is growing intimacy for Him the hearts of the students. A few weeks ago we had a teacher from Finland here to teach the students (Kimo). Kimo taught on the value that we have in Christ. It was awesome to be reminded of how much the Lord cares for us. We started working on the routine that I choreographed for the school and that is coming along really awesome. The routine takes place in a typical city, and what we attempt to reveal to the audience is the confusion and chaos that our world has adopted because of the decision to reject Christ. When it's all done Lord willing I'll have a video to show you all.
Cool Testimonies of Answered Prayers
So one day I was having an intimate time with Lord and I prayed a prayer that I thought was really average and simple. Some of you may have prayed this prayer at some point and time in you life. I simply asked the Lord to open doors for me. Doors for me to influence the sphere of the arts here in Mexico. After this time I went on with my day. Later on I decided to look in the yellow book for a dance studio for the students to practice at. I found one that was right around the corner and I decided to go there and speak with the person in charge. When I got there I explained that we are a Christian school of the arts. The lady was very intrigued that we were a Christian school of arts. I explained more to her and she wanted all the information of the school. The last thing she said to me before I left was, " I would really like for you to come and teach some dance classes when we start our season again". The lady had never seen me dance before and she knew little to nothing about me. All she new was that I was a believer. It was then that the Lord reminded me of what i prayed for that morning. I asked the Lord for open doors to influence the sphere of the arts here and He was faithful. She also allowed us to use the facilities to practice there for free. Our God is Faithful.
Answered Prayer 2
I decided one morning that I wanted to go on a walk with God. On my walk spoke to God about how I was feeling and how the school was going in my perspective. I was very honest with God, and I believe He desires honesty in our relationship with Him. I told Him that things were awesome but that i felt alone. What I mean by alone is that I am the only person here at the base that has a passion for dance and wants to work hard to develop that passion to reach and disciple youth. I was explained all this to the Lord. I also mentioned that I personally enjoy working with people between that ages of 13-18. After this I went online to see if there were anyway dance teams near me. I found a couple in Mexico City and was really excited. I wanted to message them and let them know that I also am a dancer and want to learn more. One thing led to another and I ended up not messaging them. A few days later I decided to go to Mexico city to see a friend, and take a break from the school. We decided to go to a park and when we arrived I saw a group of dancers. I stopped and watched for a while then left. As I was walking away one of the dancers ran to me and tapped me on the shoulder. Then his friend asked me if I dance. I said yea and he asked if i wanted to dance with them. When I walked over to the rest of the i found out that there were about 4 teams there of 30 people each. All of them between the ages of 13-18 and a few of them were believers. It was then I saw myself on my walk that i went on talking withe Lord. Right before my eyes was the answer to my prayer. Not just an answer to my prayer but even more than i asked for. The Lord sent me 120 youth to build relationships with and disciple. One of the teams asked if i would join the team. Little do they know about the plan that God has for them. MORE TO COME LATER...

First Feeling Now That I'm Here...
My goal with this blog is to keep everyone updated with all thats happening and so that together we all will grow as we see what God is doing. So here I am finally in Mexico. I believed and believe that God has specifically called me here at this point and time in my life to work with the youth. When I arrived here on Thursday almost immediately my stomach was filled with knots. I was here "alone" I left the land called familiar and ventured into the unknown. As i walked through customs many things flooded my mind. "You are walking away from the gospel", "Why are you leaving your country and family to follow those looney people", "Who is going to take care of you", "You are brave", all of these past spoken words played over and over in my mind. As casting crowns says, "The waves keep telling me you'll never win" these words were the waves that kept crashing against the shore of my faith. However, there soft and firm was the voice of truth. My God, my Savior, was telling me Freddyboy i'm with you. Walk in my ways and keep intimacy with me and you will see my glory displayed. All other voices were silenced; my worries and anxieties silenced. Here I am two days later and the students are arriving. Now it hits, there's no turning back now. There are lives that need to be touched. As the story goes in the book of John, when the apostles asked Jesus who sinned that this man has been made blind the response of Jesus was one that was very unique. No one sinned, but this happened that the work of God may be displayed in this man's life. I often wonder Lord why is that you have called me to this work that shakes me up and leaves so many others confused and shaken? It's then that I remember how this man's "calling" left him, his family, the pharisees, and apostles shaken. This man went before the Pharisees and explained all that happened and they refused to believe that this Jesus was from God and that he performed a great work such as restoring his sight. The work and hand of God had to be displayed through this man's life. That many both believers and non-believers alike will see the beauty of the Great God we are called to surrender too. My question to the readers of this blog is, "How is God's work/hand being displayed and magnified in your life that all may see and wonder of the God you serve? Sometimes we don't know all the ins and outs but nonetheless we are called to say yes Lord to you my life. Your yes reveals the reality of the belief that you have in the character of God. It will be hard because people will disagree with how you carry out your calling but, we have a mandate to pick up the cross as hard as it may be and Go...
